We are thrilled to announce that Fox Pacific Academy has officially been approved as a testing site for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
Medical Assistants (MAs) can soon take their Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) examination directly on our campus, in person and on paper!
Dates & Times: We are finalizing our schedule and will release testing in 2027.
Exam Format: Traditional, in-person paper examinations.
Test Prep: Comprehensive test preparation resources and sessions will be available to help you succeed.
Role of a Medical Assistant
A Medical Assistant can perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
